Exhibition at TECHNO-FRONTIER 2025: 27th THERMAL ENGINEERING JAPAN

We are pleased to announce that our company will be exhibiting at TECHNO-FRONTIER 2025: THERMAL ENGINEERING JAPAN, to be held from Wednesday, July 23 to Friday, July 25, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight. This exhibition is Japan’s only specialized technical event dedicated to “thermal design” and “thermal management,” which are becoming increasingly important due to the miniaturization and enhanced performance of electronic devices. It brings together comprehensive thermal solutions, ranging from thermal analysis and design support systems to thermal management components, materials, and products.

At our booth, we will showcase KROTECT™, a next-generation thermal management solution that has been attracting significant attention.

Exhibited Product: KROTECT™

KROTECT™ is a high-performance thermal insulation material independently developed by Kurosaki Harima. It features the following characteristics and contributes to thermal management across a wide range of industrial sectors:

• It is a type of microporous insulation material primarily composed of fumed silica, offering thermal insulation performance that surpasses that of still air.
• Compared to conventional microporous insulation materials, it achieves a 20% lower thermal conductivity at 800°C and a 280% improvement in compressive strength. These enhancements not only improve thermal performance but also facilitate easier installation and maintenance.
• It is suitable for use in a wide array of fields requiring thermal management, including steelmaking, industrial furnaces, fuel cells, and semiconductor-related applications.

In addition, we will also exhibit jacket heaters that prevent gas liquefaction and solidification in piping, as well as long-life setters (PLATECT™) for firing various electronic components, including MLCCs.
