Advantages of MAGreenX™

1 Reduce Heat Loss and Improve Energy Efficiency

MAGreenX™ achieves low thermal conductivity thanks to its lower carbon content compared to conventional Magnesia-Carbon bricks (MgO-C bricks). This helps reduce heat loss during RH (vacuum degassing furnace) operations and is expected to improve energy efficiency.

2 Enables Chrome-Free Lining

As a “Magnesia-Carbon brick” primarily made from magnesium oxide (MgO) and graphite (C), MAGreenX™ allows for chrome-free lining without the use of magnesia-chrome bricks.

3 Improved Service Life

MAGreenX™ offers higher resistance to high-temperature iron oxide compared to Magnesia-Chrome bricks widely used in RH furnaces, resulting in improved service life.
