This special exhibit area is part of SMART ENERGY WEEK Osaka, Western Japan’s largest exhibition for renewable energy. It has been specially organized in response to the growing global demand for hydrogen and the need to establish a hydrogen supply chain in Western Japan, especially as Osaka prepares to host Expo 2025.

KROTECT™

KROTECT™ is a high-performance nano-insulation material independently developed by Krosaki Harima. With the following features, it contributes to thermal management across a wide range of industrial sectors:

• It is a type of microporous insulation material primarily composed of fumed silica, offering thermal insulation performance that surpasses that of static air.
• Compared to conventional microporous insulation materials, it achieves 20% lower thermal conductivity at 800°C and improves compressive strength by 280%, enhancing not only thermal protection but also ease of installation and maintenance.
