In order to make a prosperous society sustainable and pass on a beautiful Earth to future generations, through our work, we are working hard to solve problems through the application of these 4 ideas: Contributing to society with heat management technology, Being a company that values people, A relationship with the community and Continuing to protect the global environment.
We support the philosophy behind the SDGs, as they address universal issues, and aim to be a company that supports the well-being of people in the future and the conservation of the global environment as we contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Using our heat management technology, we will continue to support a sustainable society not only in iron manufacturing but also through a wide range of fields from comfortable urban development to medicine, and even to the field of space.

The Krosaki Harima Group, with our group companies throughout the globe, is focusing on efforts towards job security, human resource development and the empowerment of women. We are also furthering various avenues of support for the employees of our overseas group companies, their families and people of those localities.

TOWN & SOCIETY
We assist in the construction of facilities using recycled materials and the development of infrastructure overseas for better urban development. On top of this, we actively participate in a number of community activities through our track and field club team, and by doing so, we will take each step toward the future together with the community.

Continuing to protect the global environment
NATURE
We strive to purify and reuse industrial wastewater with the end goal of converting it back into a global resource as clean water. We are also working to protect the global environment by undertaking activities such as recycling mineral resources and planting seedlings.

- Providing high temperature insulation fiber that is safe to health
- Selling refractories and equipment that do not adversely affect the working environment

- Promoting education to further employee skills (OJT, OFF-JT, Gaining qualifications, etc.)
- Visiting schools to raise interest in manufacturing, Tatara ironmaking demonstrations and student factory tours
- Putting training on refractory kilns and functionality into effect at overseas group companies
- Donating to universities to contribute towards increasing educational opportunities for students
- Providing education (using dispatched instructors), as appropriate, to contribute to the career development of female employees and their motivation to work
