Taking steps together to create a prosperous future
We are promoting the use of reycled materials for maintaining facilities for better urban development and the development of infrastructure overseas. We also cooperate with the community through the active participation of our track and field club team, and by doing so, we take each step towards the future together with the community.
Creating a comfortable city
Creating a comfortable city
Our recycled brick “Neo Series” has been certified as a recycled material for construction in Kitakyushu City and has been used in a number of public facilities in the city. Taking advantage of its ability to keep the road surface temperature at 10℃ or lower than that of asphalt, we hope to contribute to the creation of a beautiful, environmentally friendly city. We will continue to develop and commercialize our products, and strive to promote the creation of a city where everyone wants to live for a lifetime.
Supporting women’s economic independence
Supporting women’s economic independence
TRL-K, our group company in India, supports activities through SHG (Self Help Groups) which work towards women's financial independence. With SHG, a variety of activities are undertaken from light meal, candle and cloth-making to agricultural help such as with mushroom cultivation, and assistance is provided to sell these products via government agencies. As part of the international cooperation activities, we support women's financial independence and promote equality for all women.

Communicating with and connecting to local industries
For the younger generations who will lead the future, our employees visit elementary schools to raise interest in manufacturing through in-class instruction where they act as instructors. We share what we do and our initiatives with the children, in an easy to understand way, with the aim of fostering love for their hometown and deepening the children's understanding of local industries. It is a valuable experience for the employees as they deepen their own knowledge of the refractories together with the children.
Participation in a number of charity events
As a community-based company, we participate in local events, such as the Wasshoi Hyakuman Summer Festival in Kitakyushu City, and work towards revitalizing the region. We are also actively engaged in community support activities including lifestyle and social welfare project support, as well as community clean-ups. By taking part in and supporting these activities and events, we are able to communicate with the local people, cooperate with the local community and contribute to the development of the local economy.
Exchanges with the community through our track and field club team
Our track and field club team trains hard every day and has achieved excellent results in several competitions. The players are encouraged by the enthusiastic cheers and support from the local community on a daily basis. Through events, such as running classes for local children, the track and field club actively works to interact with the local community. And in the spirit of sports promotion and community exchange, we will continue to carry out these activities to contribute to the community.
